  1. Oscar Iglesias, did you check my link below? That should have a working and “updated” version. VERY few things will change for the chapters on that book. A couple of typos have been changed, plus as mentioned the future additions of Changeling and Demon.

  2. Jennifer Fuss, if you are going to sub, sub the below file where you can download.

Curious, have you tried it the file out? I always love hearing others opinions.

  3. I can’t help but notice that although the vampires are from the classic masquerade edition, werewolves are from the new forsaken edition.

May I ask why? just a personal preference?

And, on the same line, will Changeling be the dreaming or the lost edition?

  4. How can I subscribe to a file and be informed about changes?

I haven’t tried the file yet as I am waiting for the final draft and maybe the paperback from Urban Shadows. ^^

  5. Just now checked my email and saw that this question had been posed. We’ve answered this before, I think, but a refresher for those who haven’t read the discussions from long ago may still want this question answered.

This work originally started with a D20 modern game that Tommy invited me to using a VtM hack ruleset that was largely incomplete. Over time, we added many new systems and rules to that book, but after a while Tommy happened on Apocalypse World and Urban Shadows (pre-Kickstarter). After some discussion and maybe a game or two, we started a conversion for Vampire over to Urban Shadows. This sparked our interest in maybe expanding to other WoD lines and after more discussion we determined which game lines would be easier to write for (oWoD had this thing about metaplot and a ton of faction options). Vampire – and subsequently Orpheus – we kept with oWoD ideas, but nWoD in many ways stayed more true to the idea of Urban Shadows.

As part of our creation process, you’ll see that our add-on of Demon the Descent, is a hybrid of Urban Shadows, Demon, and the Demon supplement Heirs to Hell. I tried to make sure that the idea of the God Machine was left out, because that would require an entire section to write in and of itself. In fact I originally was intending on the Demon add-on being a mix of Demon the Fallen and Demon the Descent to help in that aversion to nWoD’s latest setting addition.

From here, we just have Changeling officially left. If I get bored, I have a few ideas for side projects, such as an Immortals add-on. But for now the idea is to stop at Changeling, though I can’t remember exactly which version we’re going with. I think it’s Lost though.

On a side note, hope you WoD add-on users like Demon. It’s my baby alongside Slasher. Hunter and Mage (also written mostly by me) are both really nice, but there’s a sadistic part of me that looks at some of the Demon and Slasher stuff and thinks “Oh fuck yeah… where’s my dice and when can I play?”

… I think that’s because Slasher and Demon have some awesome ways of implementing my own special little move/habit that we affectionately term “fuck the party”.
