Jesse R did you back the kickstarter?

Aaron Griffin – I look forward to seeing your posts about this game and hopefully we can play a game soon.

  1. I got mineeeeeeee 🙂 hehehe

I think it’ll be fun to play it again in the future (I ran a campaign using the kickstarter sheets earlier this year. But want to see what changed or was cleaned up).

  2. I’ve been playing Fallen Empires for like 8 sessions now, and starting up an AW2 game as a player soon.

The group playing FE will be moving to Urban Shadows, so I will probably not be posting much on AW2 for a bit.

  3. I’m sure David Klein will be interested too.

The major changes I see from the version I’m running: most battle moves were condensed into specializations of Sieze By Force; lifestyle has moved to a beginning of session move and caps at 2-barter; d-harm and psi-harm are more clear (well d-harm makes my head swim a bit).

  4. Just downloaded the PDF from both places. On my PC, everything loads fine. On my iPad, the PDF loads very slow. This is concerning as I use my iPad for almost all of my PDF reading. The first few pages seem to load much like the first edition PDF and all of my other PDFs, but after the image on page 10, The Basics. After that, the loading takes far too long to load to be usable (up to 30 seconds). I know my iPad isn’t the newest one, but I’ve had very few issues with PDFs taking this long to load since I had an iPad 2. I’m just wondering if there’s a reason why it would be taking longer than any other PDF I own, including Apocalypse World 1st Ed or if there’s a fix for it requiring so much memory.

  5. Downloaded this morning. I do appreciate the breadth of battle moves – they add just the lightest of crunchy coatings to the game. Like a post-apocalyptic panko.

  6. Chalice In Chains Hmm, interesting point. After I pick up Urban Shadows I’ll look at grabbing a copy. That said, if you’re thinking of running a campaign I’ll try to pick it up sooner 🙂
