1. Whoa. A Star vs. The Forces of Evil PbtA game? That seems like a tough one, as none of the PbtA games I’m familiar with seem “light” enough for that. I’m real curious to hear what you come up with though. 😀

2. Chris Stone-Bush(null) it doesn’t have to be super-light. I wouldn’t mind using Monsterhearts but with less monstery skins.

3. What about Monster of the Week?

   Btw, mark me down as another interested person for this idea. I love SvTFoE! I’m stuck with just what Hulu gives me though and I’m devouring the 2nd season right now.

4. Colin Spears I don’t currently have a copy, but I’ve heard some APs. Definitely in the running – There is a bit of a Scooby Gang vibe in SvTFoE.

5. I thought about Monsterhearts too, but I don’t feel like that really fits. Monster of the Week could do it, if you narrated things more cartoon-y.

6. Some kind of deep, deep hack of Epyllion? Monster of the Week is probably the best bet.

7. Huh. Maybe a hack of Masks would work.

8. Does MotW have anything like Strings from MH?

9. No, it doesn’t. The focus is on hunting monsters, not on teenage social leverage. 😉

14. Masks could definitely work and it has a strings equivalent too. It has a lot of focus on kids vs adults though which isn’t really present in SvTFoE.

    I think you could add a strings mechanic to MotW though. Shouldn’t be too hard.

15. You could absolutely add String to MotW. You just need to add a move aboit turning people on to do so.
