Jared Hunt’s Ars Magica project got me thinking about what I’d like to see from a high magic heavily politicized fantasy setting. The answer is ridiculous names and over the top effects for simple things. Like for instance, you don’t read a person, you Spit the Voyeur’s Curse. It’s different because if you want a hint into what a person is thinking, you actually have to curse them.
Oh! Yeah! Neat!
