I’m curious: why didn’t 5 playtest playbooks make it into the rules? The Aesthetic, Denotation, etc. Of course the PDFs are out there and we can use them if we want, but I’m curious what feedback you got, how they worked or didn’t, and what led to them not being included?

  1. Those playbooks are for the upcoming supplement for the game, Cascade. Right now they’re available so people can playtest then, but they’ll be included in that book, not by way of purchasing the core book.

  2. Yeah, Glitch City is a free Quickstart with the new mechanics. It’s on rails scenario wise as well, assuming someone who is familiar with The Veil wants to run a shot one shot quickly. It previewed two of the new playbooks also from Cascade, the expansion. It was mostly just to give a nice little adventure starter and show backers what the new mechanics are and two of the playbooks.
