I’m trying to develop a Merchandise Custom Move, but really having trouble on how to go about it.

I could just use the Deal With It Move, which might work for what I want. I can see multiple ways to try and sell your stuff to fans.

I dunno, anyone have thoughts?

  1. While I don’t know what the “Deal with It” Move entails, this is what I thought up, just as a suggestion:

Roll Look for your given wrestler, or real if they’re one of the more rebellious wrestlers not being booked

On a 10+, you completely outsell your goods, gain +1 audience and one from the list below.

7-9, pick 1: Gain +1 audience; +1 momentum; creative sees you as a good draw, and are booked to win a match later; your current rival (or wrestler you have the highest heat with) gets involved, +1 heat for both of you.

On a botch, nobody wants you at all. Lose -1 audience, and books you to lose in a regular match (if look), or in a punitive match (if real).

This action can only be done once a session, and for each consecutive session this is used, the rolling wrestler gains a stacking penalty of -1 (due to the merchandise being oversold and/or the wrestler being overblown).

  2. andrew connett Why would anyone pick +1 momentum when +1 audience is an option? In fact the +1 audience outshines all the other options, unless the group roleplays.
