I have a question.
My wife is looking to run an Epyllion game for our group and i had a character in mind that would follow the Daredevil archetype but be a member of Semscale, the House of Jade (I’m basing the character on the idea of a sort of Holy Fool, ala TMNT’s Michelangelo and the animated Ultimate Spider-Man’s depiction of a young Iron Fist) .
So… are you limited to the houses listed on your Playbook, or can they be further customized?
I would say the two houses for each playbook are a suggestion that is guaranteed to work with the archetype, by the author.
If you go another way, it may work, but also you could discover that something else doesn’t work so well anymore.

Why are those two houses the traditionnal ones for hot-headed drakes?
which older dragon did decide to let you in ? Which other dragon was angered by this broken tradition ?
This way, you link the fiction with your change. Playing to see what happens might enlighten you about why
