Question for Creatives–when you book a match for X Wrestler to win via a DQ, do you have the wrestler roll their finisher as normal? Are there any flourishes or changes you make for that kind of finish? I just realized it was a sitch that hadn’t yet come up for me.

  1. I sometimes book how they win. I see Adam’s point, and honestly, it makes sense with the description of many of the finishers.

But, I might have the person that is supposed to win via DQ roll their finisher. They are booked to win, it doesn’t matter how they win. One would just have to describe ways around the writing to make it fit/make sense.

My reasoning, is I still think DQ finishes can be a good way to build up a wrestler, and hopefully get the audience behind them.

    Just don’t overuse them.

Upon further thought, I agree with Adam. No finishing move rolled.
