  1. The trick is probably to make a device quite open to interpretation that there may be multiple ways to say what it does, while at the same time make it interesting. If it’s too vague and abnormal it may not fit the fiction (different type of devices to different campaigns).

    High-Tech Devices

An exo-skeleton, taken from an enemy who might have used it to enhance physical properties.

A bladed weapon of transparent crystal with internal circuitry.

A telescopic staff which reacts to the weather when extended.

A segmented gauntlet that adjust to any forearm and hums with power.

A bow that forms an arrow of energy when one “draws” the non-existing string.

A sharp metal frisbee that interfere with nearby electronics.

A firearm with a lens on the muzzle.

A grape-sized orb with a timer and a red button.

A tight-fitting bodysuit covered in strange sockets.

A glowing capsule with something wiggling within.

An pint-sized drug injector with several buttons.

An electronic armband with holographic screens hovering above it.

A small, portable satellite dish connected to a locked briefcase.

A pair of goggles that displays information about surroundings to the wearer.

A mechanical spider that attaches to a persons torso.

A snakelike cable that burrow itself into flesh while searching for something else to connect with on the other end.

Data-core with holographic avatar that claims to be all-knowing.

Drone that follows its master and continuously scan objects it encounters.

Capsule bed with a rig of straps and drug injectors large enough to accomodate one person.

Head-mounted rig that shows the user a virtual representation of what the world looked like before the Fall.

    Strange Devices

Crystal, pointy and rough, whispering dark thoughts to whoever holds it.

Obelisk with an ancient rune, glowing when the sun goes down.

    Orb filled with glowing/luminescent gass/liquid.

Marble with what appears to look like a galaxy inside it.

Mirror that feels like liquid when touching it.
