I have two questions, one dumb procedural and one fictional.

1. On the last mission from each campaign phase, one of the rewards is “gain new camp responsibilities.” I’m having trouble finding where these are detailed, if at all. Anyone have a reference?

2. Some of the Shadow tactics are very interesting, but I’m having trouble deciding how to manifest them, especially in non-problematic ways. Would love any examples y’all have for how you have used these in play:

– Turns women into objects

– Amplify the voices of the shadow-held

  1. Hello! Regarding Camp Responsibilities, some examples would be training new recruits, running patrols, facilitating strategy/tactical meetings, outfitting soldiers, officiating in spiritual rites, that kind of thing. Just something to really make it seem like their characters are indispensable members of The Watch, not “just” a warrior.

For ‘Turns women in objects’, I tend to see a lot of statuary; literally turning women into an object to be revered and adored from afar but never actually interacted with.

‘Amplify the voices of the shadow-held’ is ime about making them loud, louder than their resistance. They seek to bully you through loud shows of forces; not convince or manipulate.

    My $0.02. 🙂

  2. For “turning women into objects”, you could also do the more real-world “objectification” approach: women are to be seen but not heard, women are to play their gender role without any consideration of their own wants or desires, all that kind of thing. There’s also something, as Andrew says, of women being held apart from the “normal” male folk.
