So with G+ ending, where would you like to see WTP community, updates, etc? Twitter? Facebook? Something else? I’d do a poll, but I don’t want to do a forced choice.
We could certainly post more in Facebook and on Twitter. We could start a slack or discord group, etc. Let us know how you want to hear from us!
I’m probably a minority; but I don’t do FB or Twitter (much). I was on MeWe for a bit; but found that to be a bit of a cesspool. Others may not have had the same reaction.
I have heard good things about Discourse; although I understand there is some technical work around implementation. Supposedly simple for folks with technical background; maybe not for non-tech folks.
Slack is free up to 10,000 messages, costs after that.
I could see being part of a Discord group.
If I recall, the Gauntlet was moving to a Discourse group…
If it’s not on Facebook I probably won’t be seeing it, unfortunately.
I’ll definitely shift some over to the facebook group.
I have no idea what Discourse is. I’ll look it up.
My preference for updates is always a website/blog with an RSS feed. Community I have less opinion on, but if a Discourse instance doesn’t happen, then probably FB tops my list.
