Look at Monster of the Week’s Big Magic move. I think that’d be a good starting point.
I remember seeing a nWoD-style Mage thing for a World of Darkness hack, but I’ll be damned if I can remember where I saw it…I know it came up in this community.

Steve Marco, I am the one overseeing the WoD creation and we decided to go with Mage the Awakening as the Path and Order system translated to an addon far easier
If you are still interested, I would love your feedback as we are trying to make a quality addon for everyone.
I and a friend are currently in the early stages of writing an oWoD mage only hack of apocalypse world. It’s still not even close to finished, but we’re starting to figure out our direction.
Jacob Bouvier, if you need any help ….. some of our guys that wrote our game have lots of WoD experience, so if you need feedback, hit me up.
BTW, our hack mixes both nWoD and oWoD depending on the game, so Sean Dunstan was slightly off.
