Thought I’d share a custom move with you guys. My killer has decided to dual wield swords and I thought I should ramp up the danger (or reward) for her with a nice little custom move. I’d like everyone’s thoughts on this, I’d like to see if I can tweek it if necessary:
Dual Swords: When you roll +7 on “Mix It Up” with dual wielding blade weapons, before applying your target’s harm roll cool.
10+: Choose 2 from the list below
7-9: Choose 1 from the list below
*You hit with both swords (+1-harm to your attack)
*You hit a weak spot (+AP for this attack)
*You hit deeper than you thought (Target rolls harm twice)
*You hit an additional target (Another person is hit at -1-harm of your attack)
6-: Apply harm to your target. Then you take 2-harm and make a harm roll.
I like it but making a roll right on top of another roll is generally a little dense and redundant. Id instead roll it in as a bonus or mod to Mix It Up
Dual Swords: When you roll to Mix It Up while dual wielding swords you can roll Cool instead of Meat, and on a 10+ you choose an additional 1 from the list.
On a 7-9 you can take the normal effects of your attack or take 2 harm on top of the normal consequences and also choose 1 from the list.
If feels like a bit too much of an edge to get 2 different effects especially with how much damage a killer is already doing.
