Hey, those of you who supported the KS at a level that lets you be in the book as a sidekick, what kind of names and origins have you been submitting?  Serious character names and ideas, “real” names and backgrounds for yourselves, of goofiness.

  1. Generally it should be a short sentence. Most that I have had have been fun and silly with a few serious ones tossed in. i.e.

Squid Man: Swallowed radioactive squid. I have noticed that most folks just use their KS backer name. We ask that it be no longer than one sentence as we can only fit so much into the book without going overboard with the page count.

  2. I was assuming where it said “your name will appear as a Hero” that it was just the usual dedication page thing… you want a sentence?  (Sorry, I got in to the KS late and I’m generally behind the curve… 🙂

  3. Some levels it is just a name, yes. Other pledge levels you have a Name AND short origin sentence. It should say in the survey and the pledge level which applies. If you pledged at the “Hero” level it is just your name on the dedication page. No origin.

  4. Usually (I’ve backed every *world Kickstarter so far) I use my real name. For this one I came up with a random hero name and origin on the spot, and actually really want to play this guy now.
