Good evening everybody!
How do you personally use the Deck of Mysterious Objects and/or the Tarot of Servants? I think they are gorgeous and certainly wonderfully inspirational just from reading and looking at the pictures, but I have problems imagining them in an actual game.
The only option that seems kind of obvious to me is drawing a card or two as inspirations if I’m hard-pressed to interpret a key description. But if I already have an idea (which I mostly do because the key rule works sooo well! =D), it might be hard to bring in another influence, especially a random one, and still create a coherent and thematic room. And if I take out the random factor, I will essentially use these decks as an inspirational sourcebook (like the book of rooms), which seems … kind of wasted on the card format, if that makes any sense? ^^”
