Anyone run a mission in space?

Anyone run a mission in space? Currently we have 1 CORP that has asteroid mining and lunar colonies in their in their repertoire as well as a CORP based in an orbital space station. I want to give the team a mission to investigate personnel and equipment on a lunar colony but I’m not quite sure how to run it.

Any ideas?

Does anyone have any images that look like a cyberpunk Mexico city and desert.

Question came up tonight during play. Our Reporter wanted to Gather Evidence for a story but while reading the move it seems that you only get to Gather Evidence as a result of spending hold from Nose for a Story. Is this how everyone else has been doing it as well.

Our Reporter currently has 3 stories going on right now. I don’t mind if they use the Gather Evidence move, I mean that’s why they’re the Reporter right, but I was hoping to get some clarity on what has been common practice with my fellow punks.

My players bought a bar, 12 cred btw and not feeling that was enough, and they mentioned a fortune move from apocalypse world. I dont have a lot of experience with AW and would like to get some thoughts on what this base would/could provide.

Extra credit: Advice on vehicular combat and damage? Only 1 instance of this so far in our game. They have an armoured vector thrust vehicle and were engaged with a squad of soldiers with anti-air missiles. I used a soft move to show that if they stayed engaged the armor would be taken out and followed with a hard move of piecing the armor with the missile. They were undamaged and escaped but they also mentioned using AW vehicle rules. Thoughts?

Quick question:

I know you can jack in without using a neutral interface, but can you jack in without a cyberdeck?

The Tech in my game recently got a cyberdeck and took the jack in move so it probably wouldn’t be an issue but we had a lengthy discussion about the matrix and this was an unanswered question.

From the book:

Cyberdecks transform the Matrix’s signals into neural impulses and vice versa. They also provide the platform from which a hacker runs programs on corporate sub-systems and ICE. The cyberdeck is the interface between the Matrix and the user. Every signal between the user and the Matrix passes through the cyberdeck. If the deck gets fried or destroyed, that communication route is broken and the user is disconnected.

Hey CyberPunks

Hey CyberPunks,

Just started MCing The Sprawl and I really dig it. Having some difficulty with the Reporter’s Story clock. The Noise Clock isn’t so much an issue as I can pretty quickly come up with ways a Corp might cover evidence up. I like the idea of the Reporter and I think it allows for a lot of vision to come into the game as with the Pusher.

Has anyone here run The Sprawl with a Reporter on the team? How did you handle it? What are your thoughts on Stories/Story Clock and does this interact with Headlines at any point? I could see that if the story gets covered up maybe it comes back as a headline later on.

I was reading through the book and didn’t see anything that addressed this particular issue. Let me know what you think.

When you attempt to take control of a drone with your neural interface + RCM:

On a 7+, You override the system and gain control of the drone.

On a 7-9, you need to concentrate to maintain the connection. -1 ongoing to actions not involving the drone and choose 1 from the list below.

You make too much noise. Advance the relevant Mission Clock

Your hold over the drone is less than ideal. -1 to actions involving the drone.

Messenger –

In the face of impending violence, ask your lord to speak through you and roll with Spirit. On a 10+, the instructions are clear and cogent. On a 7-9, they are mired in symbology and sacrifice. On a miss, your lord has nothing to offer but judgement; heal 2 harm and gain +1 armor if you act as his agent.

Also, is there an updated version of this playbook?
