Spirit of ’77 is a PBtA game that I don’t hear about often, but I was curious about what makes it tick, what makes it fun. David K. came onto this episode to chat about the game, and he even ran an impromptu demo of it for me.
I’m going to be running this game in February for the Gauntlet, this episode got me excited for it!
Oh, and his voices for NPCs are amaaaaaazing, you all. No lie.

An arresting skinner: when you remove a piece of clothing, your own or someone else’s, no one who can see you can do anything but watch. You command their absolute attention. If you choose, you can exempt individual people, by name.
Could a Skinner use this to freeze a gang, release one of their allies from the command, and that ally slit the throats of everyone in that gang?

Today, the IGoA resumed our play of Masks High School. We added a new player and she decided to try The Innocent, a playbook that is in playtest. WOW, it was the perfect addition to an ongoing game, and really let us focus on one of the major antagonists of the campaign.
Also, lots of fallout resulting from an impetuous decision by our Beacon from last session. Oh the drama!
