I wanted to share with you awesome folks my Apocalypse World hack for Star Wars. I call it Star Wars World and it’s in it’s third playtest mode. I have three groups playing in my local area but would love to have others try the game and share their experiences too!
Anyways, check it out if it seems like you’re kinda thing.
Let’see them!
Did the link not post? I see it on my end.
Seems sweet!
Oh man, looks pretty cool! All of the space hacks are coming out of the woodwork it seems.
haha yes, when it rains stardust, it pours!
You added a few since the last time I played with this set.
Yes Josh Mannon I added The Bounty Hunter, The Sentinel, The Officer and most recently the Adept to the mix. Mostly by popular demand in my groups. lol. I think they have all added in a nice touch, although we have yet to see The Officer and Adept playtested.
I’m thinking of starting some G+ Hangout playtest demo sessions soon too. If anyone is interested please feel free to let me know and I will add you to future invites. 🙂
I don’t remember the Officer or the MC sheet but I remembered I had a BH in my last game.
Ah ok, that makes sense then. The BH was the first addition and I made up an MC sheet a little while after that.
Need to work on Front/Menaces next.
We ended up making up Fronts before we started due to the fact that we needed to position the Empire and Republic.
That makes sense. Honestly I’m running a 10+ session campaign right now and I haven’t needed any Fronts or the like so far. They can be a great help though, gives you a nice fall-back when you are stuck.
I don’t think I would have thought of Star Wars AW hack. Certainly worth a read.
Larry Spiel It is quite good, it moves at a Star Wars like speed which is where most other Star Wars Games fall down.
Andrew Medeiros I found it handy to know who the major contact on each planet was, what they wanted, and who opposed them. I did the same thing with each sector.
Yeah It’s my favourite rpg right now, but obviously I am a little biased. 🙂
That’s a great idea Josh, good to have familiar npc’s already established for them to deal with.
Larry Spiel you should read this! XD
Clinton’s Fourth Axiom of Game Design
Any good RPG can, with a minimum of effort, be used to play Jedi.

I would like to be included in a Google Hangout playtest of the game.
Absolutely David Miessler-Kubanek. I will keep you informed!
Great. Thank you.
Andrew Medeiros I’ve got this linked on my playbook page = https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B0a_iGRNRo6BeVZHSWwzZzlIcXM/edit
Is that an alpha build of your work? Should I replace the link with this new one, or keep both?
Thanks for catching that Patrick Henry Downs. You have the link to an older version/draft format. I will go ahead and close off that link so there is no more confusion. The link posted above is the current version and will be updated as I go. Thanks!!
Noted, and edited. Thanks!
