Can i help/interfere on a beginning of session move?
When i spend last session helping the hardholder setting up his rule and helping out the merchants, can i then help him on his Wealth move this session?

Sounds reasonable to me.
of course you can 🙂
but you have to say how, and if things go south it is probably your fault
Yeah, I think Ross Cowman nailed it.
Whhhhhy have I not thought of this before. Could have saved some heartache. Glad you asked!
Why not?
“Hey, MC, I’d want to interfere with Colonel’s starting move”
“Hmm… Curious! How you do it?”.
you can also help with interfering (not for the weak at heart) and moves from love letters 😉
I was wondering the same thing today, since my new game includes a Hardholder. On a miss, we’d have hunger, idleness, reprisals and double savagery, and my Angel is deeply unenthusiastic about that. Deeply.
Actually, the one thing you explicitly cannot do is help/interfere with a help/interfere roll (p. 206).
thats probably a good idea
Daniel Levine seems legit!
When I ran it, I usually decided based on people’s previous behavior in the last session whether Wealth/Fortunes/Moonlighting was helped or interfered with.
