A Friend of mine is playing The Faceless in an AW Game. I asked him how his character, and especially his mask, looked like.
The answer was: He’s got a broken old CRT TV, the face of a Golden Age newsreader permanently seared onto it by screen-burn. And of course he’s taken the Norman move so that the collected wisdom of the news can speak advice to him.
This blew me away.

If the image is burned into the CRT, I imagine just break the screen off carefully and keep it in the frame?
Until near the end of our second season of AW our Faceless never took off his mask. We weren’t really sure the mask wasn’t part of him. Could be the same thing here, the CRT screen is his true face … right?
