  1. Yeah, I looked at the workspace move and thought these bits here and here are good inspiration for nailing process, the particular obstacles and opportunities. But the real juicy bit, where the meaningful choice is made is not with the process but with the outcomes. It’s kinda of project management 101: something has to give. 

  2. And in my personal projects, not work I’m paid for but what I do for kicks, I keep picking the good and without great cost.

    And where I am at now is that my tastes are way more refined that my skills, so to produce something I like takes a long time. And that’s partly a pride thing, it’s just a safer way to do things.

    I’m also probably kidding myself that quality isn’t affected, but hey, we all have our delusions of grandeur that help get us out of bed in the morning.
