Oh, I loved the show. It is accurate and well done… and I felt exactly the same about the urge to play Sagas of The Icelanders! 🙂

Meguey Baker you totally should. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty fun.
My father-in-law, the Norwegian genealogist, raged on about the historical inaccuracies when we brought it up. Mr. Ellingboe and I watched a couple of these and liked them lots. It’s totally Sons of Anarchy with Vikings, although Sons of Anarchy is kind of Shakespeare’s tragedies with outlaw biker gangs.
I just found out Gabriel Byrne is in it, so I’m going to give it a try in spite of mixed reception.
