Is there a * World game that’s designed for just 2 participants, either 1-GM, 1-player or shared GMing. I’ve seen lots of (good) advice for adapting AW to 1 player, but I’m wondering if anyone has hacked more deliberately in this direction.

Morderous Ghosts.
Murderous Ghosts by Vincent Baker (like Tim Franzke said).
It’s a horror game with a very low survival rate for the player character. I only had the chance to play it once, my character died after 15 minutes and I ended up being scared as hell.
It’s a great game, but it needs the right context (I mean, before playing you must accept the fact that you can get very scared).
Murderous Ghosts is the only one I know of that is deliberately written for 2 players. But The Sundered Land is designed in such a way that it work equally well with 2 players. Check it out!

I’m working on one, but it’s a long way from ready.
On second thought, two projects. I have a WH40K Commissar hack in the works. I need to crossbreed it with The Regiment, but I think it’s shareable. I intend to allow additional characters, but I’m really thinking this is a one PC hack at heart. You can certainly do Apocalypse Now 40K with one PC, and that’s all I really need.
