So I want to have a game of Monsterhearts.
Unfortunately due to time constraints I don’t have very much time to be able to sit down and have a session weekly. So I’ve come up with an idea.
I want to run a game using just Skype Group chats, not necessarily calls, but typing. We might do calls as we get on or in between. But I feel it’d work as a way to have everything down and still be relatively fast. Usually I’ll utilize message boards or the like though I have yet to find somewhere I can play MH via board. ((If you’ve got one, let me know that too.))
So if you are interested in a MH game on Skype that’ll just continue over a few days, either comment or add me on Skype, my username is Soirgriffe.
Add me anyway if you just want someone to chat about MH or other games with.
Signed someone with displaced free time.
For forums I’ve played decent games on both Something Awful and RPG.net – and my RPG.net game is coming to an end pretty soon (by forum standards), so I might try running one.
How have I not heard of RPG.net in all this time?
Skype chat may be interesting…it’s much less annoying than having to check a forum multiple times a day.
The annoying thing is multiple people talking/resolving at once, always an issue with text based play. Tell us how the game goes either way though!
Some forums will allow you to subscribe to the thread – and email you when someone posts. (RPG.net does this). It helps a lot.
Well if you end up running a MH game over skype id be up for it depending on the Time you wished to run it. Ive actually done a campaign before using Roll20 for Dice/background images/Character Journals and images
