I reckon there’s two types of AW players. Those who improve their stats, and those who pick more moves.

  1. It’s an idea. I think some people definitely fall into those camps. Me, I’m always planning my next move and then take a different one (like a stat boost) instead.

  2. I think there’s two types of people, those who go with the flow, and those who try to organize a chaotic universe.

Anyway, we’re not binary.  Any scale should be analog (because I don’t want to say ‘shades of grey’).

  3. One of my favourite quotes: The world is made up of two types of people. Those who divide everything into two categories and those who don’t.

  4. Yeah, my favorite stupid AW build (the apocalyptic stripper ninja – i.e. skinner armed with a sword who takes a key move or two from the maestro d’) requires both an out of playbook move AND a stat boost as early as possible for maximum effectiveness.

  5. I tend to plan out what moves I want to take but find myself in situations were taking move Y right now would be great so I do that instead.

  6. Seriously, I agree that it depends on the playbook. With the Brainer, there were definitely some cool moves that I wanted, but couldn’t start with all of them, so I had to level up a couple of times. With the Savvyhead it was all about upping my stats.

  7. I think Craig Vial has a good observation. To a point, players do seen to do one or the other. Then once they feel secure, and understand how advancing works, they branch out.

  8. I prefer to presume that Aristotelian Determined Division is applicable to all analysis of Perceived Agenda Schism Testimonies… ergo: 1/2=3; singularities divided into two vectors, always results in three potential states.

Thus; the mixture inside all humans is really an unconnected medley, and can only be accounted via display in temporal dynamics of both the beauty and the ruin within all things pertaining to individuals with any observably mixed proportion of prosopon, animus, and thelema.
