For someone who’s a newbie to this type of system, would someone suggest a place to start?
I’m reading the Worlds in Peril rules, but is there another source I should look at?

Hi Steve, if you have any specific questions I can answer them – especially since it might help in letting me know how I can make the text clearer. However, Worlds in Peril started out as a hack of Dungeon World. You might want to take a look at it. There’s some cool actual play videos of it if you’re like something visual (first video is character creation and then the rest is game play)
RollPlay: R&D – Dungeon World – Week 1, Part 1
I find Monsterhearts really clear and it explains the system really well I think. Then, of course, there’s the original system that started it all – Apocalypse World.
Ok. I’ll post my questions here.
I’ll watch the playtest on Kickstarter too.
Sounds good!
I found Sagas of the Icelanders to have the best explanation.
Of course there is the big grandmother Apocalypse World too.
Indeed, Sagas is pretty awesome.
“Monster of the Week” seems to scratch my Buffy itch. Any idea if that flavor has a good explanation?
Monster of the Week is really great as well, yep.
