Just played today. I ran the Aware (14 yo white teen, who ran the neighborhood treehouse with his problem solving/meddling school chums. The Specter introduced me to the supernatural (16 yo neighbor, older sister of my friend in the club, died 6 months ago) The wolf, whom I knew secrets of, had been the one to kill the Specter, and was all my fault. Finally, the Hunter was involved, believing to be be protecting me, when I was protecting him.
all around. made a cool television show pilot. The Spector retired at the climax of the session to save her sister’s life (who was using black magic to uncover the truth of the Spector’s death and seek revenge)
I found it wasn’t easy for the Aware to gain corruption. The playbook might need an extra avenue for that.
Shawn, that’s so awesome. Kevin is such a great MC to play under, I’m glad you enjoyed yourself.
Your concern regarding corruption is accurate, and intentional. The Aware is the most prone to sticking to their morals and as such have trouble getting over that initial corruption hump. Once they do however, they are as susceptible as the rest of the monsters. 🙂
I played a long-term campaign with an Aware and believe me, he got loads of corruption as things progressed.
