What is the “Satus Quo or Revolution” question for each threat on the MC sheet about? Does this replace Impulse from AW?

  1. From what I have talked to Andrew Medeiros about, Status Quo is, is this threat the current establish issue? Revolution would be, is this threat out to alter that?

  2. If you’re familiar with AW, then I think the closest analogue would be “impulse.” Basically sub-Factions within Urban Shadows have an impulse to keep things the way they are (Vampire Prince) or cause a Revolution (Vampire upstarts).

  3. Nikitas Thlimmenos – We haven’t released a full set of rules, but those will be found in the main text of the book. Backers will get an early version to try out and critique when we finish rules editing. 😀

  4. No, it’s more like trying to outline sub-factions or groups. A Status Quo group is one that has things under control. They aren’t likely to move until someone pokes them (and then they will strike back hard). Revolutions are groups that want to tear the whole system down. 😀
