New skin: The Banshee. A control Freak of a skin – because being a control freak in Monsterhearts is really going to go well for the PC, however fun it is for the player. (I’ve also updated my Gorgon from playtesting)

What is your darkest self?
I went with mythology. When you scream in darkest self, people start dying.
But the darkest self isn’t mechanical; it’s descriptive. Reread the other skins darkest selfs.
Darkest self can be either. See the Ghost’s for one that’s mechanical.
Or the Werewolf
To expand, Darkest Self is something that takes the metaphor into its worst possible place. For a control freak, people dying around them but that they can see happening means that they are emphatically and in no way in control. It’s the worst case scenario. And they escape Darkest Self in one of two ways; either they take back control the easy and dangerous way by killing – or they do things the hard way and stop the really bad thing that is out of their control.
But do they want to scream more when DS? What is it that s the darkest part of a banshee? The want to control everyone and everything and who doesn’t comply needs to die. That is a darkest self.
No. That’s game over for the vampire being other than a villain – and it’s also misunderstanding the Banshee. The first thing the Banshee needs to control is themselves. I don’t think that there are any skins where DS makes you outright kill people. Actually killing someone is, in fact, a way out of Darkest Self (and into a different sort of darkness). Also a really obvious hard move is “The Banshee Screams” – especially in that darkest self.
I’ve reworked the Screams – breaking pattern to help immersion. They are now tied more closely to the Hold Steady move.
Giulia Cursi should take a look at this.
