Injury
I was reading the Technician’s injury section:
When you get injured, check an Injury box. Whenever you lose a match due to your injury, lose all Momentum. Whenever you push through your injury to win a match, gain +2 Momentum.
How can you loose a match due to injury?
Also, when you check the last box “you can no longer compete” it means for the rest of the match in wich you suffered the injury, or you can no longer compete at all? (Something like retire due to an injury).
It would be fictional. Like, say your character injured his knee, and the finish of the match is his opponent putting him in a leg-lock or something. “He’s putting pressure on that injured knee, he has to tap!”. As opposed to, uh, if someone does a run-in on your opponent, so you lose the match by DQ – that would not be losing due to your injury.
“You can no longer compete” means you can’t physically wrestle. You can be in the game, but you shouldn’t get booked in matches, etc. This might be a good time to retire the character! Remember, if you take the advancement option for a new Gimmick or Advanced Role, you essentially heal up while you’re off screen.
