Last week our Maestro d’ hit a 12+ on an advanced Manipulate. He was convincing two guards into abandoning their paymaster and working for him instead. He chose to make these two guys, Birthday and June, allies of the guardian type. Thing is, both of these guys had flamethrowers and there are no stats for flamethrowers in the rulebook. I decided, on the fly, to give these weapons the stats of (4-harm ap close area reload).

that sounds like the right stats, yeah. and if the two of them know how to work together, I might have them count as a tiny gang.

loud + messy I think… is there such a thing as dangerous tag?
No, there’s no +scary tag either, but it would fit.
+loud +messy usually = +scary in my games lol
The weapon itself isn’t that much scarier than, say, a gun. Its the effects that’re frighting, and that’s easily done in the fiction with messy and loud.
when hit by a flamethrower, act under fire…. Hehe.
Just think of the hard moves you could make when someone fails a roll in a gunfight with flamethrowers around.
