For those of you following the revised edition, I sent the text to Fred Hicks last night for layout. Exciting!
(Less exciting has been dealing with various document formatting issues before the real work can start.)

Can’t wait to give you more money.
Been roughing this thing out all afternoon. 🙂
A revised? Awesome.
Hurrah for Monster of the Week!
Fred’s stuff is looking really good. He’s got this great ragged backdrop thing going on for the chapter headings.
I’m also really proud of the revisions Mike and I have done on this edition. The whole thing feels likes it’s taken on a lot of the lessons of the last couple of years of playing MOTW and other AW hacks, and just generally thinking about AW hacks. I think the advice is clearer and more consistent now, and some of the subtle areas that created issues have been called out and addressed.
Yay! Besides the layout, will the book look substantially different? New cover, new playbook images?
Three main things come to mind, Nathan Riddell. When I took a closer look at it, I found that we were talking about moves in slightly different ways throughout the book. We examined the Use Magic effect “Do one thing beyond normal human limitations” and talked about how the scope of this determines the tone of your game. We’ve also cleaned up the weapon tags a little bit so they’re more obvious.
Felix Girke: there will be new art as well, with a new cover.
Nathan Riddell: There’s better/more advice around the manipulate move, investigation, harm and healing, and some elaboration of the Keeper agenda and principles.
Also those things Steve Hickey said! Some extras on big magic as well.
Can’t wait to see the final product! I love MOTW!
So excited! ((Throws money at computer screen))
