Watching Burn Notice, realized that it’s very much like an Urban Shadows game minus the supernatural. Characters cashing in debts (and gaining new ones) with each other ALL OVER THE PLACE. That’s a really interesting side of the show. Not sure where to go with that idea.

I’ve only ever seen the pilot. Should give it another chance.
To me, the interesting bit is how Michael has all sorts of neat tidbits about how a real spy might operate. It’s pretty down-to-earth in some ways.
But yeah, debts and hitting the streets and stuff all over the place.
(That said, it’s a bit silly how many of the transition shots are just bikini babes. Things I notice, having done a little study in video, including editing. But that’s not as related to Urban Shadows.)
Burned spies + Supernatural horror… Does this mean I can use Urban Shadows to run a sort of Nights Black Agents Powered by the Apocalypse game?
OH MY GOSH.
