I wanna see this happend indeed. YES!
Not really. What game design problem would this address?
I don’t know, I’m just curious 😉
I like the idea but Gumshoe is not even a system to me… Just a game mood. Just play tremulus and give hints for free. The problem is Gumshoe is very railroaded, while AW is not. Yet I think it’s worth a try…
Much better with PC keyboard… XD. Autocorrect sucks
Well, looking at the obvious, *World doesn’t do mystery games very well. Gumshoe has a couple of good tools for mysteries despite keeping lots of stuff from older traditional RPGs that it doesn’t need. So maybe you could hack *World to model what Gumshoe does there. It’s certainly an idea worth exloring.
Weird, we are trying that out tomorrow. 🙂 AW rolls, NBA generic & investigatives. 🙂
It worked wonderfully. 🙂 2D AW roll works wonders with Gumshoe pools. We played superheroes so action was quite fast and furious, G pools needed refreshing twise in 8+ hour session. Didn’t use multible moves, basic tiers and narrative additions depending pool use only. Network was awesome as we rolled once for contact with AW style agaist its pool. Once double ones (lef to fight scene) and once double six so contacts pool was doubled.
We has absolutely fabulous time! Will be using Worlds in Peril powers, AW dice and NBA Gumshoe pools in future for sure. 🙂

Would really like to see something done with AW engine and Gumshoe. 🙂 NBA character structure gave really nice language to present character concept and focus and AW roll made generic tests more intensive aside of the chase structure which allready was fun with Gumshoe.
Did anything come from this?
I don’t know. I just check the poll and 13th Age is now 1 vote ahead AW…
Do’h 🙂
