Help me barf apocalyptica all over this!
We are starting an Apocalypse World game and we decided on a look/feel kind of like in the images here (especially the header image of this album).
Help me daydream some imagery and barf apocalyptica all over this!
How long does it take for the vines to overtake everything again? A week?
how do the mutant deer get on top of the buildings?
Some of those images are the same we are using for our Aw campaign!
In our game people live underground. Can’t trust the plant…oh, you can’t.
also, the su is bad for you! (playing with Lenny Pacelli here)
anyway, I see that the others make impressions in the form of questions, so, uhm… how did the animals adapt to survive the iron-corrosive pollen that seasonly sweeps the land?
I’m also thinking about a small community that surrounded its fresh water reserves with urticating or otherwise dangerous plants, cultivating them to create traps for helpless people (sure, plants are less mobile than people, but if you shoot them, they could release something… unpleasant).
The plants have adapted to the poison rain that falls irregularly in toxic storms…
The survivors, not so much.
Who lives in those towers? Where did the animals go? How did we come to live here? What’s for dinner tonight? Why does the sky always turn pink at sunrise?
What makes gun fire so dangerous? Is it the sound that attracts them or the smell of spent powder?
How do the masked raiders find their way in the heart of a spore storm? What happens to the children they take?
That brown rain produces such a green bloom, compared to that blue rain from last week.
I took the pill labeled Kinkade and the world looks different. What did that Dali pill do?
oh, of course strange plants + apocalypse = shitloads of drugs!
What do you during the two hours of black rain each day?
Why do some people still go into it and what happens to them?
What makes moving through the dense undergrowth so dangerous? How do you move about?
How do people prevent the fungus growth in their lungs from choking them? It is said that if you die from this sickness, it takes control of your body. What does it do with it?
Why is it always clear around the Temple?
Who keeps the buildings near the temple clear?
Why do the lights still work, even though most of the wires have gone?
Where did the bodies go?
How did this happen so fast?
Red flower for headaches, white flower for flying. What does the black flower do?
