Resource – headshots
For in-person games, as part of my standard Monsterhearts kit, I carry around a deck of cards each with a character headshot on them. I personally find it helpful on a couple of fronts – it helps the players pick a more specific ‘look’ for their PC and also helps me keep a hand of NPC cards ready and encourages me to reincorporate them.
The website I got them from specialises in actor headshots (I was looking for young, good-looking and broody so aspiring actors fit the bill pretty well). Here:

After playing a game with you doing these head shots I pretty much immediately started making a set for the Buffy RPG I’m a player in and for when we start a Monsterhearts game. Picking out cards as ‘face claims’ for the PCs but also the NPCs was a great way of making them ‘pop’ visually and give players something to latch onto.
There were funky little stands you used in the Dragonmeet game, could you share a link to where they could be found as they’d be great for character images and condition cards.
Sure! They’re called exoclip minis http://www.exodisplay.co.uk/exoclip/ I don’t remember where I bought them from, but google provides a few options.
Great resource. Thanks for sharing
I used to prepare Call of Cthulhu character sheets (without stats and skills filled in) in much the same way – although, admittedly, I was grabbing pictures from all sorts of photo resource sites. It’s a really nice idea for Monsterhearts though, for characters to whom image is often very important (and the playbook image is not necessarily the look you want).
