Page 111: “First aid does not normally require a move, it’s just regular prac-tice. Hunter moves that provide healing may be used in addition to first aid. You can only benefit from first aid once per injury or condi-tion.”
First aid is just something you declare you’re doing, and the MC asks for specifics, and hopefully your character knows what they’re doing.
Are you applying during combat? If it’s out of combat, sounds like you just do it.

Stephanie Bryant in combat is no different – the first aid attempt would still not need a move, unless there’s some other factor like “I want to do it as fast as possible” or “while you are busy, the razor ghost slices you to pieces”
Well, that’s what I was thinking of, yeah. In combat, you would probably be in direct danger and need to do something to avoid that.
Cool, just wanted to make sure that was what you were getting at.
