This is an archetype I made for one of my players. Just wanted to share and maybe get your thoughts on it.
World Info-
-The Fae Realm is another plane that shadows the real world, but is much more natural. It’s dominated by forests, swamps, and jungles.
-Creatures that enter the real world automatically assume human form, while creatures that enter the Fae Realm must assume their true form.
-Dragons, Fae, and Fairies hail from the Fae Realm

I’m curious how Fae and Fairies differ in your setting. The Fae Realm seems like solid fiction though!
Oops, sorry for not sharing.
Basically we see the Fae as an elvish looking race in true form. Not a lot changes when they come to the mortal world. Less pointy ears and shorter hair. They run the courts and are manipulative.
Fairies are tiny curious flying creatures, pixies really. Much more friendly by nature. The player wanted a character that is “nicer and can help people”. I tired to do this with the bonding and buff type magic. Not sure how it will work out, but she likes look of it. We haven’t tested it out yet.
So it’s basically the Victorianized version of the Fae… Which is pretty much where we get the idea of tiny winged pixies to begin with.
