Hi people. I want to gift you with an HOLO CLOCK I made for my sheets (W.I.P.). You get the HOLO CLOCK with or without hours. Please use it for your campaigns / sheets etc. Hamish, if you like it you can incorporate in your book as well. Simply, drop a thanks.
They are PNG 300dpi with a transparent background.
That’s really cool, good work!
cool. I will have to use those in my game.
Very cool!
I’ve always found the analog-style countdown clocks to feel out of place in the Sprawl (even when done like this). They symbolically work in core AW because of the old idea of the Doomsday clock, but that’s not really an relevant symbol for this setting.
Have you considered other symbols/metaphors for clocks? Wifi signal bars, status bars, and that twirling “loading” clock on iOS all seem relevant.
That’s why I’ve represented them as digital in the sprawl, a ticking countdown to 0000. That said, I’m not a graphic designer and the graphic elements come at the end of the process for me, so I’m open to ideas.

In the current draft of the playbooks, I’m using an outlined 88:88 digital display. The player will fill in the segments for their current level of injury. But, I’m open to other ideas.
How about a fuse? Burning down, goes ‘boom’ when you get to the end?
Jeremy Strandberg still, I love the idea of clock metaphor. It’s sad when I play and I say to the players “you have 6 boxes. First 3, no problems, 4th and 5th you are In trouble, fill the 6th and you are almost gone”. They find hard to remember it. While, with the clock styled counter, it’s cooler and easier. Also, the slots have different shape, so it’s easy to grasp that when you are in the “last quarter” something bad is occurring. Finally, if you take the one without hours, it’s a simple digital countdown indicator 😀
