Hi!

Hi!

Hi! I’m prepping our first play so I need to translate the playbook for my french-speaking players. but I struggle to understand a Mark (Sparrow playbook): “Speak truth to power.” Does it mean: Tell the truth to someone who hold power (an officer for example)?

  1. I have translated it into Italian as “Di’ la verità davanti al potere”, which would translate back into English as “Tell the truth in front of power”, with the same general meaning (in Italian) of what you are guessing above: “Tell the truth to someone who holds power”.

  2. Ça implique prendre un risque en leur disant la vérité. “Toute vérité n’est pas bonne à dire”  mais explicitement à une figure d’autorité.
