early thoughts on a created move
SICK BUMP:
when you take a bump major risk to your health and safety roll 2d6 + REAL
on a 10+ the crowd busts into holy shit chants, gain +1 audience
on a 7-9 gain 1 momentum and pick one; someone botches it take an injury, you don’t sell it right lose 1 audience
on a botch pick one: you botch it and you don’t sell it right lose one audience and take an injury, someone botches it horribly take 2 injuries.
it’s risky but to give essentially unlimited attempts to gain an audience i think it should be, curious what people think.
I dunno. It’s both really powerful and adds up the injuries too fast. I wouldn’t use it in my games.
It’s effectively the Hardcore/Violence move, but not necessarily triggered by using weapons, right? Or inside a match? So I think that’s the interesting bit. Something like:
Sick Bump You make the Hardcore/Violence Move whenever you take a bump that’s a major risk to your health or safety, in or out of the ring (I’m thinking of Shane McMahon falling off the ‘tron, that kind of thing).
I’m not sure this is relevant, but this retweet by Wade Keller made me think of this move. Maybe something along the lines “Someone backstage owes you” would be a good addition

this would be really cool, if you could add a “no spending momentum” stipulation.
