Sorry if this has been asked, but this just came up in a game and we’re a bit stumped.

Is there a way to gain Heat with someone besides cutting promos or initial Heat questions? I’m asking because my character is in an impromptu tag match, and my partner and I have +0 Heat with each other since it’s the first in-game interaction. It seems odd that there’s no way to gain Heat with your tag partner during a match as you start working together.

  1. Certain gimmick move have you gain heat as well.  But yes, wrestling.  The audience only cares that two guys are a team when they talk about each other in a promo, or one saves the other in a match (hot tag).

  2. Use your Role Move to spend Momentum for Heat! In a heel team, you might distract the ref to give your partner an opportunity to cheat behind his back; in a babyface team you might break up a nearfall pin or get in the heel partners face to keep him from interfering, that kind of thing.
