An informal poll on what you would expect to pay for the supplement:
Assume the supplement is a book, same size and format as the core WWWRPG book, maybe 2/3 of the page count (~100 pgs vs 160) at the same trim size. Contains the overview and some new rules for Lucha Libre, Japanese wrestling, British grappling, modern Indie style; essays (similar to the ones in the core book) on Lucha and Puro; rules for extended play and optional rules for backstage stuff, etc.
Charge the same if it stands alone (e.g. has the core rules in it). Otherwise, I would expect a supplemental to be a little cheaper.
My first thought was that smaller should = cheaper, but supplement also = smaller print run to split the costs across.
Under $20 is basically impulse buy level for games for me anyway, I’d easily pay that if it were the same level of quality.
Hrm. Matthew Caulder , I was thinking about $15 print/$10 PDF. I don’t know if that has a weird smell to folks, considering that i generally price my PDFs at half of the print cost, but it seems to reflect the value of the content accurately to me.
Thanks for the votes so far folks, very informative!
Yup yup that’s what I thought you meant!
There will be a combo, but don’t expect this to happen until early 2016!
I’d pay whatever you price it at.
No 🙁 but I will accept them as currency…
