Well, believe it or not, I just recently saw for the first time The Crow movie (the original with Brandon Lee). And I’m wanting to work on a playbook for Urban Shadows now that Halloween is coming! But what Faction do you think it should be? My first thought was Night, but Wild may fit too, no? #thecrow #urbanshadows

The Crow may be a freelance, able to choose between these two factions, that could be one of his advantages.
I would say somewhere between Mortality and Night. The missions of the Risen are usually very personal in nature. They’re basically physical specters.
The Crow is the main inspiration for the Revanent playbook, which is Night faction.
Oh, I didn’t know about the Revenant. Well, I guess maybe I shall work something else for Halloween.
The Ravenant is the Vessel, isn’t him?
From the limited edition playbooks: The Angel, The Dragon, The Immortal, The Scholar, and The Vessel (Ref Update 31)
Nope. The Vessel is separate playbook.
The Revenant was a stretch goal:
“$10,000 (UNLOCKED!!!) – Dead Souls: We’ll release an additional Archetype: The Revenant, an undead angel of death drawn back across the veil to seek revenge against those who hurt them when they graced the land of the living. But is revenge justice? Do they care about the difference?”
There are 17 Playbooks in total. We haven’t seen the Hallowed (Power) yet also.
Hot tip: The Revenant will see the light of day very, very soon.
Ok, thx Luke Walker .
I was re-reading the Vessel and it seems more inspired in the myth of the Golem.
Nice!!
Another great update in the way Mark Diaz Truman ^_^
Hope it comes soon. My 3rd campaign of Urban Shadows is going to start soon, and we need new characters due to… well, erm… misfortuned encounters XD
A Dragon was in the works, but it should be better if we got all the available playbooks.
azlath Don’t worry, I’ve still never seen The Crow, so you’re not the latest to the party.
I highly recommend reading the original graphic novel. The movie tried hard but didn’t quite reach the same level.
