I want to fill all of my skillwire slots with this pdf! It’s so delicious. Does double-fisting give any stat bonuses? 😉
Wait, it’s on sale for those fools like me that missed the kickstarter? Can it be true???
It can be true!
(Blithering like an idiot from happiness after listening to all those Friends at the Table podcasts…) Yeah! Take my money!
okay… so happy! buying tonight, is there a print on demand option yet?
Dude, Hamish thank you so much! With so much vaporware out there these days I’m so happy to see this come to life! Very thankful for people like you keeping the dark future alive!
We’ve started working on PoD. That will take a bit longer as I’ll have to order and review physical proofs. I’ll post some photos here when I do.
Dude… the layout is so good! I can’t believe this 260 pages… so much bigger than my flimsy V.2. This is so overwhelmingly amazing! I love the banners at the bottoms of the pages! It looks like a crazy news builtin feed. So excited to MC this. Also if I play, totally going reporter! The reporter of 2020 was so LAME but this… this is like. How did you even do this?!
Oh, hells, yes…
I’m losing it over this book. Totally LOLd at CH. 8 –> “fucksgivin: [null]”
cortex jackal My favourite line is still the beautifully ambiguous “The MC’s agenda is not to kill the characters. You are not competing with the players.” Indeed, no such competition is necessary… the players are more than capable of doing that on their own.

The book looks great!
Waiting for the hardcopy and many thanks for this!
Simon Geard It takes me back to Paranoia 2e. “Killing player characters is easy. Getting them to do it themselves is the hard part.”
Where should we post typos for the next version? I noticed the description for the Mix It Up action says 7+ rather than 10+ for example. I’ve barely started reading it but really like what I’ve seen so far.
That’s not a typo. Page 28, right? The first line is 7+ and the second is 7-9. See page 8 where this kind of thing is specifically discussed.
Oh, that’s what I get for skipping the beginning section. I’ve played half a dozen+ Apocalypse games and haven’t noticed this style of notation in them before. Thanks for being so quick to respond!
There are a couple of moves in other games that do it, but yes, it’s not common.
When the KS was running I had to bail out (because RL sucks some times).
I’m glad this is out. The PDF is gorgeous and runs smoothly on my Kindle.
Congrats and looking forward to the POD version.
Is the profit description missing for the Protection Job in the Fixer Playbook that you get when you choose “Backup” (page 77)? I only see a disaster entry listed.
The Profit in that is more fictional positioning than a quantified benefit.
(As I was proofing the playbooks this morning, I had the same thought actually, Carl Anderson!)
I thought that might be the case, but as the only example like that it looked odd.
Can’t wait to get my hands on a print copy Hamish!
