For those that don’t know my deal, I work at sea and find it hard to put together well-edited stuff…
However, when I next get ashore (for longer than a weekend) I really want to get in touch with the game’s designer and request to put out a very, very large supplement. This’ll be the first time I produce something of decent quality for someone else, but Monsterhearts has really taken my own heart- I just adore the concept.
It’ll be free. So why not just make it you ask? Well, it’s going to have a few settings with extra rules and a lot of Skins. I don’t want to tread on or sully their idea, so I feel I should ask first.
It’ll be called TERRIFYING REFLECTIONS.
Can anyone help me get in touch or just offer advice?

Last I knew, she had very deliberately left the RPG community. I’m not sure how welcome such communication would be. I think you’re better off putting it out yourself, just making it clear it isn’t official.
Avery McDaldno has stopped development on MonsterHearts (and their other games) : https://www.patreon.com/posts/1833231
I sincerely doubt you would “tread on or sully their idea”, as you put it, by publishing a supplement to that wonderful game.
What a genuine shame. Oh well, I suppose I’ll do that. I’ll keep you all posted, Easter leave isn’t for a few more weeks anyhow.
I’m going to keep quiet and just let it be when I’m finished, but for those interested the supplement will include, but not be limited to:
Motorhearts, street racing monsters of the 50’s.
Screaming Out Disaffection, the highs and lows of being a teenage monster in a famous band.
The Pumpkinhead, empty headed ditz with hidden depths.
The Gorgon, once beautiful, now ruinous to behold.
The Shade, child of a true monster, torn between humanity and the will of their caparious parent.
New season advances, such as Drop a Lost Cause and Share your Power.
Plus threats, like the Sweet Angel Child and the Numina Society.
.
It might just be my perception, but in lieu of Avery’s development, Jackson Tegu appears to have inherited stewardship of the game. Maybe approach him if you’re unsure about anything?
Jackson Tegu kickstarted the Second Skins (new playbooks) but, as far as I know, he has not (officicialy) released anything else, nor is he planning to.
I don’t think this qualifies as inheriting stewardship of the game (but I may be wrong).
Jackson posted an update to the Kickstarter earlier this month. Don’t know if he is releasing it publicly though or just to backers.
It’s a public update.
Jackson is keeping backers appraised of the difficulties he has in finishing his project.
He does not imply anywhere in his update that he’s gonna be involved with the main rulebook and I really doubt he has any interets in it, appart from using it as a base for future supplements..
Thank you all, you’ve been most helpful!
I now believe, taking into account it will be free, I’ll just release it when I’m shoreside.
Any other thoughts or interest, feel free to contact me.
I’m back on land next Sunday, who knows what will happen then! :o
