Sorry the image is a little …. revealing.
I use a combination of this, Kavinsky and the Shadowrun Returns 3 OST’s (for legwork music, mostly) when I run Sprawl games on roll20. Players love it!
Nice! Do you find music gets at all distracting? Haven’t used it in-game much.
Deus Ex : Sonic Augmentation is my go to right now. I always have music during games. Anytime I run a cyberpunk game I usually do a lot to build the physical atmosphere of where we are playing. Dim blue light bulbs, music, etc.
Chris, I actually don’t. If you get the volume correct, it can (much like a visible legwork clock) really ratchet up the tension among the group during the legwork phase. Dropping a sick beat right when the team decides they’re going loud can provide an amazing experience for your players.
Cortex, Deux Ex soundtrack works great too, I forgot I have some of that in there as well. Also fantastic legwork music.
You’ve heard sonic augmentation specifically? It’s a mix of deus ex music.
Lazerhawk is my go to: https://lazerhawk.bandcamp.com/album/redline
And there is always Abducted by Sharks if you want a bit more metal in your cyberpunk: http://abductedbysharks.bandcamp.com/album/siege-engine
I played Always/Never/Now in the fancy new hotel at Gen Con last year with a sweet ambient playlist: https://open.spotify.com/user/stlhood/playlist/23ThryGqaiuCcYeaEyCCOr
There are several others on Spotify too.
(I love this thread!)
