Hello Hivemind.
I need help with ideas. I’m getting prepared to the 2nd season finale of our AW Fort Thunder campaign and I want to do it with a real bang (like BANG!).
My players are divided into three groups now:
Rory the Brainer + Muller the News are going to face the invasion of a well-equipped and rather fascist military unit in their City where Cartel Lobo in the North is balanced with Shah’s Stalkers in the South for now. So it’s military action, techno things (there are labs and reactor under the City), military interrogations, covert ops, gang war etc.
Ulf the Juggernaut + Polo the Mastro D’ are near the alien ship that started the Apocalypse and Shah’s Stalkers who examine the ship captured Polo already. Alient technologies, guerilla action, jungle fights await them. Also Ulf plans to kill Polo as a revenge for killing his friend Max.
AI the Hocus + Baby the Battlebabe (+ AI’s followers – her children) are fleeing from the City to the west coast hoping to find peace for their family (they are lesbian couple with a very strange relation history). But there is Kurtz and his savages there (PC from previous season) and they do things to people that I even hesitate to bring into the game directly. So it’s “family in the warzone facing savage grin of war” for them.
So what’s the question? I wanted to ask for some suggestions like “Oh you should totally watch/read X to get cool ideas” or “There is this hack Y that has moves/other mechanics that would be of great help in this situation”. Something like that.
I understand that tasted differ and things that some people consider cool wouldn’t work for me and my group. But I hope to catch some ideas and use them to finish that game in the most satisfactory way.
