Thanks!
You’re wellcome 🙂
So, which one is correct?
The book. Sorry for not clarifying that!
The behind the scenes rationale is that generally, every playbook gets two automatic starting moves, the Killer’s second move is Chromed.
That’s okay. It will still be some time until we are at that stage in character generation and one of the players chose to play Killer so this immediately made me curious 🙂
Thanks!
Hamish Cameron I have a suddenly doubt, when ou say Chromed is his second move, do you mean that he can’t have his 2 cyberware, more machine than meat, and buy chromed with advancement ?
You’ll notice that the Killer is the only playbook without chromed as an option. They can still buy it from another playbook, but given that they can make a move in the fiction to get new cyberware, paying an advance for it it expensive.
Tl;dr: you can always have more cyberware. Are you happy to pay the cost?
That’s what I understood the first time, tanks.
Isn’t “more machine than meat” in practice the same as “chromed”? Both give you another piece of cyberware and are listed in moves. What’s the difference?
Same rule, different name, so you can take them both.
Ah, OK. Thanks!
