Looking for easy to adapt horror mysteries for Monster of the Week on a budget? You might want to consider Hebanon Games system neutral “No Security” horror modules. Most have been posted on DriveThruRPG.com for “Pay what you want”(the sole exception is “adult” and around $2). The setting is the “Dirty 1930s” but Keepers will find most easy to update to the current day, although there is no reason Monster-of-the-Week can’t be run in that decade, either thru time travel or as a default period with very small modifications. Several would make excellent one shots or tournament mysteries.

I hearty endorse this product. I’ve run it in CoC and Trail of Cthulhu and its fantastic. Fisher of Men and the Companions are terrifying.
Here’s an actual play of one of the scenarios.
